Not finding a class that fits your family's schedule or budget?  Start your own class.  Most classes need only 6 students to make and the tuition is based on the length of the class, the curriculum, and the location among other things.  I would be happy to work with you on creating a class that fits your needs.  Call me or send me an e-mail.

Active & Engaging Learning That Challenges Students

Picture
Learn Out Loud so you can Live Out Loud!  These classes are taught in a way that gets students physically, emotionally, and intellectually involved in the subject.

Students learn to build their own opinion based on fact, research, and experiences, and learn to express those opinions in a positive way.  The Leader/Instructor/Guide/Teacher, however you want to label it, creates active learning that allows kids to challenge themselves, their ideas and the ideas presented to them whether from other students, resources, or the "Teacher".

Students are lead through a learning path that has something that will excite and inspire all different types of learners:
reading, writing, brainstorming, experimenting, improvisation, storytelling, computing, sequencing, estimation, evaluating, calculating, role playing, movement, song, sharing personal experiences, peer critiquing, group work, individual and group goal setting…..

Students will be challenged daily individually and as a group.  A positive, fun, exciting learning environment that give students the tools to Live Out Loud!

Parents are provided tools as well to continue the learning throughout the week.  Each family will have access to the class website on myschoolbinder.com.  This is a private web page just for students in that class.  It has resources for further studies, class calendars, summaries, discussions, links, and more.  So parents can stay connected to what is being taught and the progress of the class as a whole.

Learning Out Loud is more than a cute catch phrase.  It's a way to live; for students to be proud of what they know and not embarrassed to ask about what they don't know yet.  It gives students of all ages the tools for success socially, academically, and personally, to make choices for their life, and attack decisions with confidence, passion, knowledge and experience.
